International girl child day celebrated with zeal and fervour at Revel Dale Public School
International girl child day was commemorated in a very spirited manner today at Revel Dale Public School. The sole purpose of this commemoration was to encourage and inspire all the girl students to set a high goal and pursue it with a lot of zeal and fervour. They were all told to have vast knowledge of all subjects as well as of national and international issues. Through different cultural presentations the girl students were guided to set their priorities right. It is simplicity, focus, perseverance and never say die spirit that can take them to great heights and enable them to acquire the stature and position that they richly deserve. The boys studying in the school resolved to extend their support to the girl students in a manner that they all feel safe, secure and pursue their further studies without experiencing any obstacle and impediment in their way to glory. The girl students of the school resolved to transcend all traditional and cultural barriers in order to prove their merit and mettle in this competitive and male dominated society. Teachers sang a song in order to give their blessings to the girl children of the school. The song presented by the teacher inspired and moved the daughters of the school who later on committed to striving hard to come out of the shell of mediocrity. All the stage presentations were such that created in the girl children a strong urge to surge ahead and secure the position of respect in the society.

Celebration of Mahatma Gandhi Ji's birth anniversary at Revel Dale Public School
Mahatma Gandhi Ji, the Father of the Nation, was given a reverential tribute today by the teachers and students of Revel Dale Public School. Through an enactment, the students were reminded of the noble ideals and principles that Gandhi Ji never deviated from.
Mahatma Gandhi Ji’s strong resolve to remain firm on the path of righteousness, peace, and truth was shared with all the students. Mahatma Gandhi Ji’s principles based on simplicity, equality, justice, and non-violence were dwelt upon in the special assembly that was conducted today.
Mahatma Gandhi Ji’s relevance in the modern times was presented before the students through a short drama. Students of the school performed a dance performance highlighting Gandhi ji’s teachings and beliefs.
Students of the school felt greatly inspired when they learnt that during Dandi march Gandhiji covered 385 km distance on foot to prove his firmness before the Britishers. The young learners of the school resolved in a firm manner to stay righteous, truthful, patient, and non-violent all through their life.
The Special Assembly conducted today at the school was highly enriching, empowering and educative.

Books exhibition at the school
Caring Companions” was the title of the Books Exhibition that was held at Revel Dale Public School. Wide variety of books was arranged for the students. Story books for all age groups were available in the exhibition. Biographies, autobiographies of inspiring personalities of the world, books containing life lessons by great educationists and abridged version of several classics were also displayed in the books exhibition.
Children and parents visited the exhibition point and browsed through the pages of different books with a lot of zeal. Children were all brimming with excitement at the exhibition points.
Books of all genres were available. This proved to be a highly useful measure for promoting children’s interest in book reading. Book reading is a habit that nurtures the impressionable minds of the students with words, ideals, innovative ideas and inspiring thoughts. A number of children purchased the books.
Students of classes V to +2 were directed to write their views on the book within 15 days time. All the school teachers also went to the exhibition point of the school. They all felt intellectually stimulated to see so many titles of great authors like Ruskin Bond, Khaleed Hossaini, Sudha Murthy, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, J.Krishna murthy and Dr. AP J Abdul kalam.
All the parents appreciated this initiative of the school. They were all of this opinion that children can be shielded from the ill-effects of mobile phone if they get connected with books. Books exhibitions play a vital role in strengthening students’ bond with books.

Teachers’ Day- Celebrated with Zeal and Fervour
The theme of the Teachers’ Day celebration held at Revel Dale Public School was Teachers – The Architects of tomorrow. Based on this theme a number of cultural presentations were presented on the stage by the school students. All these performances were very well rehearsed and very well choreographed.
All the students performed on the stage in a spirited and involved manner. They were all looking highly expressive and enthused. Respect and gratitude for their teachers were evident on the faces of all the children who came on the stage.
The children among the audience were equally involved and spirited. They demonstrated perfect discipline while watching the stage presentations. There was not even a trace of indiscipline in the conduct of the children.
Teachers of the school resolved to work in a manner that vision of peaceful and collaborative world is materialized.
118 members of the teaching and non-teaching staff were honoured with a citation on this occasion.
The stage presentations’ duration was 90 minutes. Through this programme the students learned about the mission oriented work done by the teachers for the growth and development of the students. They also learnt about the role of the teachers in creating the future of the new generation as well as of the nation.
All the students were looking cheerful and excited on this occasion.
After the stage performances got over, the students greeted all their teachers and expressed their gratitude.
There was one segment in which the children shared their line of action that they are to follow in order to make their teacher feel proud.
The Teachers’ Day celebration released a strong wave of gratitude towards teachers in the entire school.

Independence Day Celebration at Revel Dale Public School
The 80th independence day of India was commemorated at Revel Dale Public School with lot of zeal and fervour. The theme of the stage presentations was India at 80. In the stage presentation the entire journey of India in the last 79 years was mapped. India’s giant strides in software sector, space science, agriculture, defence and literature were projected in a highly creative and evocative manner.
Students enacted a play that showed India’s journey towards growth and development. In this journey students also learnt about some dark points that are vividly manifest in our country. These dark points are widespread unemployment, unemployability, inequality, lack of safety for women, ignorance and corruption.
It is the youngsters who are to groom themselves in a manner that all these dark points disappear from the fair visage of our mother India. It is the youngsters who are to make themselves future ready by being competent, confident and value driven. India’s inseparable unity in diversity was beautifully projected in the stage presentation.

Amazing Victory of Revel Dale Public School’s Girls
U-14 and U-17 girls’ team of Revel Dale Public School scripted a new history by winning 1st position in the regional level volleyball tournament held at Adarsh Public School, Karnal under the aegis of CISCE.
All the young girl athletes demonstrated alertness, good judgment, flawless coordination and meticulous execution of their planning. There were moments when pressure mounted. They kept their nerves under their control. They showcased caution and aggression in all the matches.
Wonderful display of team effort was there in their game. Everyone in the team contributed in a manner that the team got gold medal.
Revel Dale school’s girls belong to the border area villages. They are not the ones who have easy access to practice sessions after the school hours. The practice that these children did was done during the school hours under the supervision of the school’s sports teachers. This practice was made them all recognize their weak areas. They worked hard on all those weak areas and emerged as victorious.These young sportsmen are the budding stars of tomorrow. Their technique and skills were widely appreciated. There is a strong wave of pride and cheerfulness at the school due to this amazing victory of the volleyball players.
At this moment they are the source of inspiration for all the girls of the school as well as of the villages that they belong to.

Amazing victory of Volleyball players in Regional level tournament
The sports potential of the students of Revel Dale Public School is truly inspiring. With this inspiring sporting potential, children are achieving new milestones every year.
7 Students of the school took part in U-19 category regional level volleyball tournament and secured 1st position in this neck-to-neck competition. They beat the host team of Adarsh Public School in Karnal. Their passion was to be seen to be believed. Every player of Revel Dale Public School put his soul into the game and exhibited fiery aggression. Their passes and smashes were a specimen of precision. They complemented each other and conducted beautiful well.
The three students of U-14 category also showed their mettle and played a vital role in the victory of their team. They notched up the 1st position.
These young sportsmen are the budding stars of tomorrow. Their technique and skills were widely appreciated. There is a strong wave of pride and cheerfulness at the school due to this amazing victory of the volleyball players.

World Nature Conservation Day
Environmental care is everyone’s responsibility.
The Indian Soldiers’ supreme sacrifice of their precious life for reclaiming every inch of the Indian territory at LOC in Laddakh was presented before the students and teachers in an earnest and soulful manner. Everyone felt emotionally moved on seeing this play.
Mother Earth’s power to regenerate all sources of sustenance should be revived and restored. This message was disseminated in the entire school on the occasion of World Nature Conservation Day through creative and educative stage presentations at Revel Dale Public School. All the children of the school were fully attentive and engrossed when students presented a play based on aforestation.
This was indeed a highly evocative stage performance and every student realized how essential it is to plant and nurture trees.
Teachers of the school made students aware of the reasons of the natural disasters taking place all over the world.
Loss of human life, public and private property can be prevented if sincere measures are adopted to conserve our nature.
All the children of the school resolved most earnestly to act in a responsible manner and save environment from further degeneration.
