SPECIAL ASSEMBLY TO COMMEMORATE DR. APJ ABDUL KALAM’S BIRTH ANNIVERSARY
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s birth anniversary was commemorated at Revel Dale Public School with a lot of reverence, devotion and enthusiasm. Different presentations based on Dr. Kalam’s lofty ideals and principles were staged by the students and teachers.
A skit that projected the struggle that Dr. Kalam had to undergo as a child and then as a young scientist was performed by the students. Dr. Kalam always wanted the youngsters to have a high goal.
Today all the children of the school learnt about the need of having a high goal through a song.
Dr. Kalam’s contribution to the sphere of space science is pivotal. School children and teachers showed their reverence for Dr. Kalam’s contribution by making a working model of Chandrayaan 3. It was the most soul shirring and exciting spell in the entire special assembly held at the school today.
A strong wave of inspiration was experienced in the entire ambience of the school today.
All the students resolved to tread the path shown by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam through his thoughts, words and deeds.
TRIBUTE TO SRI GURU ARJAN DEV JI TO COMMEMORATE HIS MARTYRDOM DAY
Students and teachers of Revel Dale Public School paid a reverential tribute to Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji through different activities.
Devotional musical presentations were soulfully shown on the stage to make everyone aware of the supreme sacrifice of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji. Shabads written by Sri Guru Arjun Dev Ji were sung with a lot of devotion by the students.
The teachers of the school dwelt upon the teachings, principles and convictions of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji.
Everyone in the school felt overwhelmed with emotions when this special assembly was conducted at the school.
A few children of the school came on the stage to share their resolution that they made after witnessing the stage presentations.
All these children resolved to dedicate their life to the welfare and service of mankind. They all said that they would never budge from the path of truth and righteousness.
There was a strong wave of divine inspiration in the ambience of the school today.

TRIBUTE TO FREEDOM FIGHTERS BY THE STUDENTS OF REVEL DALE PUBLIC SCHOOL.
Independence Day was celebrated with a lot of patriotic fervour by the students and teachers of Revel Dale Public School on 14th August.
Through a dance presentation an earnest tribute was paid to the Indians who contributed to the evolution and development that took place in India in the last 76 years.
Apathy and indifference that is shown by certain Indians towards the sacrifices of the valiant freedom fighters was shown in a play that was staged on the eve of Independence at the school.
Students of the whole school paid their homage to the freedom fighters through their essays, paintings and speeches.
Parents of the children too had discussions with the children at home about the significance of this day for all the Indians.
All the students and teachers of the school were overwhelmed with patriotic zeal and they were infused with a feeling of gratitude towards countless freedom fighters.

REVEL DALE GIRLS WIN IN THE REGIONAL LEVEL KHO- KHO TOURNAMENT
Regional Level kho-kho tournament under the aegis of CISCE was held at Jogindra Convent School ferozpur. Four girls of Revel Dale Public School represented Amritsar Tarntaran zone in the under 14 category and played a big role in the victory of their team in the fiercely contested tournament. These four girls are:

They will now represent the northern region at the National Level tournament. By winning first position in this competition these students of Revel Dale Public School have brought glory to the school, their village and the whole Punjab.

An Orientation Session on Accountable Teaching
Almost one hundred twenty five teachers of Revel Dale Public School attended an orientation session on Accountable Teaching. Mr Rajiv Arora, the principal of school, shared his insights on this theme with the teachers. When a teacher discharges his duty in an accountable manner, he nurtures Life Skills and Examination skills in the children.
All the teachers learnt that when teaching is imparted in an accountable manner then it always leads to learning and students feel greatly enriched.
A strong rapport between teacher and students is an essential prerequisite for accountable teaching.
Teachers were told that they need to see, focus and act in oder to reform the students.
Several more points were dwelt upon during this one hour long session. All the teachers felt highly enlightened after this session got over.
Revel Dale Public School Hockey Players got gold medals in Regional Level Hockey Tournament*
In the Regional Level Hockey tournament conducted under the aegis of CISCE the under 14 category students and under 19 category students of Revel Dale Public School proved their merit and took their Amritsar Tarn Taran region team to point of victory. Students of classes X and XII prepared soul stirring stage presentations to express their gratitude towards their teachers. Students themselves scripted a play to depict the life of struggle and sacrifices of teachers.
The students accorded warm reception to the teachers by showering flower petals on them. They performed ‘aarti’ to show their devotion towards teachers.
Teachers felt overwhelmed with emotions on seeing students’ love and affection for them.
Ms. Rupinder Kaur, one of the senior teachers of the school shared her words of appreciation for the students who had made meticulous arrangements for honouring the teachers.

“SCIENCE FOR SOLUTION.”
A SCIENCE EXHIBITION
Students of Revel Dale Public School conducted one exhibition based on different principles of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Mathematics.
Eighty Students participated in this exhibition. More than fifty models were placed in this exhibition.
Students interacted with the parents, teachers and experts and dwelt on the working of their respective models. They dilated upon the way Science provides solution to all the long standing problems related with agriculture, low water table, floods, power shortage and malfunctioning of the body organs.
Students responded to all the queries of everyone with conviction and unwavering confidence . All the parents and experts appreciated and blessed the students.
Models based on soil, electric circuit, number system, working of dialysis, laws of motion and relevance of Newton’s law drew everybody’s attention.
Experts were highly impressed with the oral expression of students.
Children demonstrated poise, composure and indepth understanding.
Rest of the children of the school also saw the models and interacted with their school mates. They also felt greatly enriched and motivated.
This Science exhibition played a great role in developing scientific mindset in everyone.

Reverential Tribute was paid to the Father of the nation,Mahatma Gandhi ji at Revel Dale Public School where students gave several performances to show their respect and regard for the lofty ideals and principles of Mahatma Gandhi. A special assembly which projected the unflinching faith of the Father of the nation in non violence, non discrimination, truthfulness, self help and perseverance through different stage presentations was held on 30th September.
This special assembly was an expression of gratitude by all the teachers and students of the school to the selfless service rendered to our country and countrymen by Mahatma Gandhi ji.
The students put themselves on the oath that they would never budge from the path shown by Bapu.
Rare Achievement in National Level Hockey Tournament.
Young Sports enthusiasts of Revel Dale Public School, have brought great honour to the entire North India by securing winning position in National Level Hockey tournament conducted at Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium Odisha under the aegis of CISCE.
Two students of the school Gurmandeep Singh (9th std ) and Amandeep Singh ( 9th std) represented the team of North India’in under 19 category and competed with Odisha team in the final match and ouperformed the rival team to win the gold medal for the entire North India Region.
Four players of the school Jarmanveer Singh (8th std)& Jagroop Singh(7th std), Arbaaj Singh(8th std ) and Harmanpreet Singh(7th std) were the members of the North India’s under14 team that secured third winning position in the National Level Hockey Tournament by beating Tamilnadu team.
Two students of the school Jarmanveer Singh(8th std) and Jagroop Singh(7th std) have been selected for SGFI Hockey Tournament. They will attend special training camps and will get a rare opportunity of playing in National School Games.
The students belonging to border area of Punjab are being groomed with care and concern and their sporting talent is being chiseled in a manner that they may bring pride to the nation in the coming days.

School Zonal Level Kabbadi Competitions Conducted by CISCE (NEW DELHI).
Students of Revel Dale Public School, Rangarh (Attari), Amritsar bagged Runner Up positions in U14 category and U17 category in the Interschool Zonal Level Kabbadi Competition conducted by CISCE (New Delhi). U 19 team of the school secured 3rd position in this tournament that was conducted at Sacred Heart School, Beas.
CISCE affiliated schools of Amritsar and Tarn Taran sent their teams for this Kabbadi Tournament.

Young Athletes of Revel Dale Public School Emerge as Sports Champions
The Under 17 Kho Kho team of Girls won the first position in Inter School Zonal Level Kho Kho tournament organized by CISCE New Delhi .This competition was held at Sacred Heart Convent School , Ajnala.
In the same competition the under 14 team got 2nd position and under 19 team got 3rd position.
Amanat Preet Kaur in under 14 category was adjudged the best chaser of the tournament.
The girls demonstrated remarkable skills, strength and stamina in the fiercely contested matches.
Hockey teams of the school too proved their sporting strength in the Zonal Level Hockey Tournament held at International Fateh Academy, Jandiala Guru yesterday ie 28th April.
The nimble movement of the under 14 and under 19 players enabled the young players to secure second positions.
These young athletes are earning a lot of pride for their parents, villages and school.
They are becoming a role model for several other youngsters.

Please Avoid Taking Children Before Dispersal

Here at the school revision for Terminal Examination is being conducted. Every teaching period is, therefore, very important. If a child leaves the school before dispersal and misses the last two teaching periods, that child suffers a lot.
It has also been noticed that certain parents come to pick up the children just when the test gets over. Many parents take the children just after the paper because of the poor health of the children. If the child is unhealthy, he shouldn’t be sent to the school. If the medical prescription is sent to the school, child will be given average marks.
You are, therefore, requested to avoid taking your child early.

This is to inform you that here at our school admission for +1 class is going on. Teaching of the +1 class will start on 1st June. Students are being admitted for all the streams. i.e., Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce and Arts.
Very few seats in each stream are there. The children recommended by parents whose children are already studying in the school will be given preference. Once seats are filled up, it will not be possible for us to admit any child.

Child needs to respond to this message by typing ” I am……and I want to opt for Commerce/ Arts/ Medical / Non Medical Stream. After typing his/her name in the first blank child may type one of the four streams mentioned above.

Everyday your child spends more than six hours at the school. If he/she comes by school transport, in the morning your child spends atleast 30-40 minutes in the bus.
If proper and nutritious breakfast is not taken, your child will experience weakness at the school. Due to this reason, there are certain children who sometimes find it difficult to stand for 15 to 20 minutes in the morning assembly.
These days when whether is very hot, children should get Vitamin C which is there in abundance in Lemon. Lemon water will be very useful for the students.
In breakfast child should have paranthas and curd or chapati and vegetable.
Children should avoid taking tea in breakfast. If wholesome meal is taken in breakfast, t will be very beneficial for the children.
