Learning Objective:

MOTHER NATURE- OUR NURTURER (Intra School Colouring Competition at Pre Primary Level)

Learning Objective: To sensitive the young learners about the need to of showing reverence towards Mother Nature they nurtures us all by providing all sources of sustenance. All the students of classes Nursery to UKG took part in this colouring competition all of them showed keen interest in this activity related with the world of colours. We, the teachers, were amazed to see the zeal of the tiny tots whom we call tiny titans.  

 

Snippets of  Rhyme Recitation Competition among students of LKG and UKG

Learning Objective: To strengthen value system of the children by cultivating in them the ability to absorb inspiring words in a rhythmic way. All the students of classes LKG and UKG participated in this competition and mesmerized everyone among the audience with their composure and flawless expression.  

World of Colours- The World So Beautiful

Learning Objective: To enable the students to recognize colours and to experience pleasure in the world of colours. All the students of play pen class made beautiful patterns with their hands dipped in colours of different shades. In their subconscious mind they got this impression that with the hardwork done with hands this world can be filled with beautiful shades and hues.

Garden of Good Manners

Learning objective: Words of courtesy make our routine life so smooth and pleasant and children who use these words of courtesy get everyone’s blessings and good wishes. Keeping this objective in mind this activity was conducted in LKG. All the children demonstrated complete understanding of the way these words are to be used in our day to day life.

Journey of Fabric

Learning Objective: This activity was conducted at the Pre Primary level with the sole objective of making our children aware of the people who are involved in the making of the dresses that we wear in our day to day life. Now our children have the feeling of gratitude towards farmers, weavers, salesman and tailor. Feeling of respect is also thus cultivated in the minds of the children for people belonging to all sorts of professions .

This bonding of our students with the pets will develop in them respect and affection for the entire creation of nature.

Healthy and Unhealthy Food   Learning Objective:-Nutritious food always plays a very important role in the physical growth of the students. The basic purpose of this enactment presented by the teachers of Playpen class is to make children understand that junk food or packed food is very harmful for them. They should all take vegetables, fruits and milk for the staying healthy and for growing well. The Goat and The Fox   Learning Objective:-This enactment has been prepared by the teachers of class Nursery  so that they may teach the children to stay alert all the time so that no one may cheat them for selfish reasons. Two Cats and Monkeys Learning Objective:-This story is about being generous and not greedy.Greed always causes hatred even in friends and others get advantage of that. If on the contrary friends remain generous towards each other,  they stay strong and happy. Young learners should also enact this story at home to understand the message in a still better manner. The Grasshopper and Ant Learning Objective This story is highly educative for people of all age groups. This story tells us that we will face a lot many difficulties in our life if we don’t work hard for our future challenges in time. Laziness and fun making will not help anyone.It is only hard work that helps. Watch the story ” Ant and grasshopper”

Four Orientation Sessions for Parents
Four orientation sessions for parents were conducted at Revel Dale Public School, Rangarh ,Attari. In these sessions the school Principal laid emphasis on the need of having a proper time table for students at home also. All the parents were guided to make sure that they assess the child’s work and appreciate him  every day for the work done at the school.
The need  of providing  a Learning point to each student was also discussed with parents. 
Parents were further guided to have a compulsory family reading time at home. During these sessions the importance of giving high goal for the students was also discussed with the students. Once the students start grooming themselves for a high goal they will stop thinking of going abroad and thus they will save themselves from exploitation that the Punjabi youngsters are facing in other countries.A number of questions were raised to parents to make these orientation sessions interactive. All the parents remained fully engaged and involved while listening to Mr Rajiv Arora. They all felt highly enriched and inspired.

Orientation Session on the Theme “Youngsters As They are and Youngsters As They Ought to Be “

Mr Rajiv Arora, Principal of the School, conducted an orientation session for all the teachers of the school. He dwelt upon the theme “Youngsters as they are and Youngsters as They Ought to Be”. In this session of 45 minutes concerns related with the  deterioration and degeneration in the conduct of the youths were dilated upon. A vision of producing the youngsters who are enlightened, empowered and enriched was shared with the teachers. Mr Rajiv Arora emphasised upon the need of exemplifying values and virtues that we wish to cultivate in the youngsters. Youngsters are the  spine of the nation and if youngsters are morally and intellectually weak, future of the nation will be murky.

All the teachers were urged upon to guide and groom the youngsters of the school with care,concern and compassion so that they may all become a strong asset to the nation.

The New Art Room of the School where the young artists learn to draw and paint creative and fascinating designs and patterns .

A Dialogue with Dr BR Ambedkar
A dramatized interaction with Dr BR Ambedkar was conducted at Revel Dale Public School. In this dialogue a student of the school was presented on the stage as Dr Ambedkar and he was asked about his perceptions on the way constitutional values envisioned by him are being put into practice in the India of today.In his response Dr Ambedkar talked about discrimination on the basis of race,religion,gender and caste that is so wide-spread in our country. 

In this dramatised dialogue Dr Ambedkar urged the youngsters to respect plurality and diversity that we have in India.

He also addressed girl students of the school and motivated them to perform upto their potential.He made an ardent appeal to them to make consistent efforts to secure admission in the Premier institutions of our country like IIT,IIM and Medical Colleges where their number is far less than that of boys.

All the students of the school were visibly inspired to see Dr BR Ambedkar addressing them all.

Baisakhi-A festival that unites

On the eve of Baisakhi the students of Revel Dale Public School, were told about the unifying spirit of Baisakhi that is celebrated as Pukhandu in Tamilnadu and as Vishu in Kerala. Bihu dance is performed in Assam the way Bhangra is performed in Punjab.Students of the school were amazed to hear these facts related with Baisakhi.Baisakhi is indeed the festival that brings forth the unity in diversity of our country.Students of the school learnt to show respect towards the plurality and inclusive spirit of India.

This day reminds us all of the martyrs who sacrificed their life for the nation in the Jallianwala bagh massacre.

Students were also guided to have deep reverence for the farmers for their diligent efforts to grow wheat to feed us all. On the day of Baisakhi we all share their joy.

Students of the school sang shabad with devotion to pay their reverential tribute to Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji, the founder of Khalsa Panth.

Bhangra was performed with unique Punjabi rapture by the students.
