Four Orientation Sessions for Parents
Four orientation sessions for parents were conducted at Revel Dale Public School, Rangarh ,Attari. In these sessions the school Principal laid emphasis on the need of having a proper time table for students at home also. All the parents were guided to make sure that they assess the child’s work and appreciate him every day for the work done at the school.
The need of providing a Learning point to each student was also discussed with parents.
Parents were further guided to have a compulsory family reading time at home. During these sessions the importance of giving high goal for the students was also discussed with the students. Once the students start grooming themselves for a high goal they will stop thinking of going abroad and thus they will save themselves from exploitation that the Punjabi youngsters are facing in other countries.A number of questions were raised to parents to make these orientation sessions interactive. All the parents remained fully engaged and involved while listening to Mr Rajiv Arora. They all felt highly enriched and inspired.

Orientation Session on the Theme “Youngsters As They are and Youngsters As They Ought to Be “
Mr Rajiv Arora, Principal of the School, conducted an orientation session for all the teachers of the school. He dwelt upon the theme “Youngsters as they are and Youngsters as They Ought to Be”. In this session of 45 minutes concerns related with the deterioration and degeneration in the conduct of the youths were dilated upon. A vision of producing the youngsters who are enlightened, empowered and enriched was shared with the teachers. Mr Rajiv Arora emphasised upon the need of exemplifying values and virtues that we wish to cultivate in the youngsters. Youngsters are the spine of the nation and if youngsters are morally and intellectually weak, future of the nation will be murky.
All the teachers were urged upon to guide and groom the youngsters of the school with care,concern and compassion so that they may all become a strong asset to the nation.

A Dialogue with Dr BR Ambedkar
A dramatized interaction with Dr BR Ambedkar was conducted at Revel Dale Public School. In this dialogue a student of the school was presented on the stage as Dr Ambedkar and he was asked about his perceptions on the way constitutional values envisioned by him are being put into practice in the India of today.In his response Dr Ambedkar talked about discrimination on the basis of race,religion,gender and caste that is so wide-spread in our country.
In this dramatised dialogue Dr Ambedkar urged the youngsters to respect plurality and diversity that we have in India.
He also addressed girl students of the school and motivated them to perform upto their potential.He made an ardent appeal to them to make consistent efforts to secure admission in the Premier institutions of our country like IIT,IIM and Medical Colleges where their number is far less than that of boys.
All the students of the school were visibly inspired to see Dr BR Ambedkar addressing them all.
Baisakhi-A festival that unites
On the eve of Baisakhi the students of Revel Dale Public School, were told about the unifying spirit of Baisakhi that is celebrated as Pukhandu in Tamilnadu and as Vishu in Kerala. Bihu dance is performed in Assam the way Bhangra is performed in Punjab.Students of the school were amazed to hear these facts related with Baisakhi.Baisakhi is indeed the festival that brings forth the unity in diversity of our country.Students of the school learnt to show respect towards the plurality and inclusive spirit of India.
This day reminds us all of the martyrs who sacrificed their life for the nation in the Jallianwala bagh massacre.
Students were also guided to have deep reverence for the farmers for their diligent efforts to grow wheat to feed us all. On the day of Baisakhi we all share their joy.
Students of the school sang shabad with devotion to pay their reverential tribute to Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji, the founder of Khalsa Panth.
Bhangra was performed with unique Punjabi rapture by the students.
